Diet After Hip Replacement Surgery

Once you return home, you should be back to your regular diet. Your doctor may make some recommendations, including:
  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  • Avoid too much vitamin K while you are taking blood thinners.
  • Limit coffee and alcohol consumption.
  • Watch your weight.
  • Take vitamin supplements, including iron.
